James has a near encyclopaedic knowledge of previous Big Brother series and he used to 'entertain' strangers for hours at parties by being able to recall every former housemate...his inability to now do so has led to concerns that his imminent 30th Birthday is being coupled with a premature onset of senility.

He is often found in the office after everyone else has gone home and has been praised for his strong work ethic. He'd rather everyone didn't find out that he's typically on youtube.

James also has a primal fear of rats and has a fake one on his desk, which someone suggested as a form of aversion therapy. It isn't working.

Outside of work, James loves cricket, falling over quite a lot and Vietnam war movies, which he doesn't have a slightly unhealthy fascination with.
