Andrea joined Qmedia as a Graduate Research Assisant in September 2007 following the completion of her degree in English Language. Her degree, though very enjoyable, has been the bane of her life ever since she started it as everyone now seems to think that she is a walking dictionary, with the ability to spell any given word upon request and instantaneously provide the answers to the crossword in the blink of an eye. She is in fact worse than pretty much everyone at doing crosswords.

However, being a bit of a whizz with words is but one of her many talents. Andrea is one of those ‘special breed' of horse fanatics- she rides her own beloved horse in British Dressage competitions and is also involved in flat and national hunt racing (any hot tips chargeable at a negotiable rate). When

she is not riding she also watches horses, reads about horses (in her lunchbreaks of course), talks about horses, looks for potential horses to buy which she can't afford and on weekdays keeps in regular contact with her unpaid groom (Mum) in Cheshire discussing a detailed account of how her horse's day has been.

Andrea does not actually like watching soaps as if they are real life, nor reading the girly gossip magazines or fashion glossies which she can frequently be seen poring over, but feels that she has a duty to do so in the interests of media research.
